The Activity Experience

This measure will require a randomised sample review of residents Life History information, Support Plans, Activity Programme and ‘PAL Profile’ (if used) or equivalent is completed.

The outcome of this measure will aim to establish how staff are providing meaningful engagement opportunities for residents within an ‘activity based’ model of care within the Care Setting.

By providing an ‘activity based’ model of care for individuals living with dementia, the care setting will have evidence that they are meeting CQC Fundamental Standards: Person-centred care, Dignity and respect, Consent, Safety, Safeguarding from abuse, Food and drink, Premises and equipment, Staffing and Fit and proper staff
