Focus Group Discussions

This element of the audit will involve the auditor facilitating three semi structured interviews with three focus groups.

These Focus Groups (Residents, Relatives/friends and Staff) will provide an opportunity for all stakeholders to reflect on and share their thoughts on the experience of living, visiting and working in the Care Setting and comment on any care practices and approaches adopted in the care setting.

The outcome of these discussions will aim to establish how person centred all stakeholders believe the experience of living within the Care Setting is. They will also be used to measure the reliability of the outcomes of the other measures used and results obtained.
